The bucklebone clip is a game changer, no more fumbling with those cheap plastic clasps in the cold. I keep it long for sniff walks then shorten it to 3 feet when we hit traffic, and it holds steady the whole time.

The slide adjuster is so handy—I can switch from a short city walk to a long park stroll in seconds without fumbling with knots. The bucklebone clip feels solid too, no worries about it popping open.

Wasn't sure about spending this much on a lead, but the bucklebone clip alone sold me — it snaps on one-handed even when my dog's pulling. Being able to go from 6 feet on open trails down to 3 feet on the sidewalk without stopping is exactly what I needed.
